Josh Rivera is a percussionist that was captivated by the PANArt Hang in 2006. After years of playing traditional drums, tabla, darbuka, and cajon, Josh found a refreshing beginning with the Hang. He saw and heard an instrument without rules, traditions, customs, or expectations. The Handpan was an open book for creation, exploration, and meditation. His playing is reflective of his first impression of the instrument, free form and improvisational. Using the handpan, Josh tells stories through sound and cadence.
