Judith Lerner delights in exquisite exchange; whether harmonizing in musical improvisations, movement and rhythm sessions, or engaging in those goose bump generating conversations. Her world shifted on its axis when she happened upon a Handpan video on YouTube in August 2012. She plays for the sheer fun of it, and is engaged in a most wonderous journey with the Handpan.
She is a classically trained violinist who transitioned to “fiddling around” in improv jam sessions. Called to the drum, she started playing djembe in 1995 after experiencing the freedom and energy of African drumming. She is a seeker and facilitator who inspires us to connect to each other, to the planet, and to the sources of personal power.
