David Charrier is a french handpan player, who discovered the Hang and the Handpan in 2004. His passion for the study of these instruments, combined with his desire to create and experience great encounters have allowed him to travel and to share his music throughout the world.
Whether solo, as a duo, or with a bigger group, David has always loved to travel and spread the wonder and curiosity kindled by these amazing instruments.
Passionate about exploring rhythms and melodies, on multiple instruments, David is considered today as a pioneer in the Handpan world. In order to continue to encourage and train as many lovers of the handpan and its magic, in 2016 David decided to create an online Handpan school called MasterTheHandpan.com, where beginner, intermediate or advanced level Handpan players can enjoy and benefit from his unique way of teaching.
